Administrivia
I try to split my time up so that everything gets done.
Over the years I've discovered that I need to spend about 20% of my time on "administration", accounts, planning and routine corespondence.
I spend about 40% of my time on "operations" including product creation, site maintenance, project management, script updates and other technical jobs.
The remaining 40% of my time is invested in "marketing".. writing articles, press releases, viral reports, ezine adverts, PPC adverts; dealing with affiliates and joint venture partners and building my profile within my chosen niche markets.
Today was an Administration day, it's been a while since I've had a good clean out and I can actually see the top of my desk now. The important stuff has been properly filed away and the junk has been disposed of.
I work at a beautiful antique partners desk with a burr walnut veneer and an inlaid leather top. I really should treat it with more respect!
