Advice On Writing For A Niche Totally Unknown To You.
I saw this question on a forum this morning
"Any advice on writing for a niche totally unknown to you?"
It prompted the following response..
Visit as many forums within the niche as you can, find out what gets discussed most, look out for frequently asked
questions and identify the people with most influence.
Armed with that information you have a couple of choices..
1. Create your own product based on the information that you have collected.
2. Ask the experts if they would be willing to answer your questions in te form of an interview by email or by 'phone and collate their answers into an ebook (plus audio where appropriate)
3. Seek out an expert within the niche and propose a joint venture where you handle the sales, marketing and delivery and they provide the content.
In my opinion, far too many people limit their potential in the mistaken beliefef that they have to work alone. Why not play to your strengths, be aware of your weaknesses and colloborate with others to create a stronger more capable team.
