My Little Black Book

I spent the vast sum of 59 pence (about $1.20) at my local Post Office this morning on a little black notebook.

It measures about 3" across,  it's slightly less than 5" from top to bottom and it contains about 100 pages.

I buy a new little black book at least once per month, I like the size because it fits perfectly in a shirt or jacket pocket.

I use them to jot down ideas, to outline plans, to make brief notes and as an aide memoir.

I take my little black book wherever I go.. taking Muffin for a walk, while in the Library, when travelling (I often get a new one for a specific journey) and even when in cafes or restaraunts.

It isn't always convenient to take a laptop or a PDA with you and my little black book doesn't need batteries!

The little black book also provides a means of measuring progress and I enjoy browsing through the pages when one becomes completely full or at the end of the month.

It's a resource that I strongly recommend.
