Take Your Dog To Work Day

Take Your Dog to Work Day was first started in June 1996 in the United Kingdom and in 1999 in the United States. Created by Pet Sitters International this day celebrates the great companions dogs make and encourages adoptions from local shelters, rescue groups and humane societies.

Pet Sitters International, sponsor of Take Your Dog to Work Day, estimates that more than 10,000 companies in the United States and Canada opened their doors to employees' dogs during the annual event.

Unlike all those companies, I enjoy the company of Muffin, my English Springer Spaniel, every day. One of the greatest benefits of being an Internet Marketer is the freedom to live and work wherever you like and every day is a "bring your dog to work day"!
